Station 1
Station 1 is located in the rural, winding roads of north Rutland. It is home to the Rutland Special Operations Task Force. This part of Rutland is home to the notorious Northern Highway, a criss-crossing, windy 2-lane highway. The road is home to many car crashes, stuck trucks, and car fires. Other land within Station 1's jurisdiction includes rolling fields, farms, and small residences. Station 1 operates Engine 6, Truck 1, Squad 01, Trench Rescue 1, ATV 16, and Car 4.
Engine 6Engine 6 is a 2021 HME Ahrens-Fox Type 1 Interface. It was bought to tackle the Northern Highway and the many back roads that are part of their jurisdiction. Engine 6 has a Darley LDM 1250 GPM pump with a 850 gallon poly water tank and a 40 gallon foam cell to extinguish car fires. Engine 6 is first out for any calls on the Northern Highway, as Truck cannot tackle the highway. Engine 6 also responds to MVA's and other car-related calls.

Truck 1 (RSOTF)
Truck 1 is a 2005 Smeal HME 105' Quint. It has a Hale 1500 GPM pump with a 500 gallon water tank and a 50 gallon foam cell. It responds to medical calls, MVA's, and most box alarms. Due to it's size and age, it is rarely seen on the Northern Highway. Along with it's normal duties, it is part of the Rutland Special Operations Task Force, which is staffed with technical rescue personnel and specially trained firefighters trained to respond to technical calls in Rutland and throughout Brickmont. |
Squad 01
Squad 01 2010 Ford Expedition. It has a Whelen Lighting Package and safety gear inside. It is used to respond with crew to rescue and fire calls, along with traffic enforcement. In the back, the SUV holds medical bags, traffic cones, signs, rescue bags, life vests and water gear. It is usually seen assisting bigger accidents and MVA's on the Northern Highway. It responds to all 2nd alarm or greater structure fires to provide help with hydrants and traffic. |
ATV 16
ATV 16 is a 1991 Eagle ATV custom. It carries light rescue gear for off road rescues and brush gear, tools, and other equipment to assist with brush fires deeper in the trails. It seats 2. For the most part, ATV 16 can respond without the need for a trailer, with a top speed of around 50 mph. When needed for bigger accidents further away, it is towed by a open trailer. |
Trench Rescue 1 (RSOTF)
Trench Rescue 1 is a 1983 Mack MC custom flatbed w/ a Hiab 125 crane (being fixed and re-installed). It carries all of the shoring and a large portion of the trench rescue/collapse gear (large rams, an organic vac, digging equipment) which is kept in one of the yellow container. It also uses a Hiab 125 crane to lift crates and heavier equipment. It is a member of the Rutland Special Operations Task Force, which is deployed throughout Brickmont. |
