Brickford Volunteer Fire Company
Brickford Volunteer Fire Company
The Brickford Volunteer Fire Company serves the small, beautiful 20 square miles of Brickford, with about 6,000 people. Brickford is on the outskirts of Rutland, and can be very busy during work days. The fire department is funded by yearly stipends from the town and their own fundraising efforts. Brickford houses Engine-Tanker 86, Engine 11, and Brush 07.

It has tanker abilities, 4x4, and a off-road chassis designed for heavy use, perfect for brush fires and rough back roads. It has a 1500 gallon water tank and 40 gallons of Class A/B foam. The truck also has medical gear, allowing it to respond the medical calls with ease. |
Engine 11
Engine 11 was a recently bought fire truck that serves dual purposes; a second out engine and first due brush truck. It's a 2017 International High Tech EVS Type 3 Pumper (CalFire Spec) with a 700G water tank, serving as the second engine. It has been modified with a extended lift kit. The truck is equipped to handle need of a regular engine and also is first due to brush related calls, carrying chainsaws, shovels, hardhats, and spare chains. This truck also responds first due to motor vehicle related calls.
